Jubilant Karen Salter moves to Luxury Lake Oconee Real Estate Group with great excitement, and anticipation. Her extensive network in Atlanta will serve her, and her new company, Luxury Lake Oconee Real Estate Group well as SUMMER HOMES, SECOND HOMES, and FOREVER HOMES are sought out “at the lake” by many of her satisfied clients.
After 25 years living that included working in real estate and raising a family in North Atlanta, Karen became ENTIRELY ENMESHED in the North Atlanta real estate market and served a multitude of clients under the umbrella of two brokerages where she was a Founding Partner at one.
Why Lake Oconee?
Shortly into the pandemic, Karen and husband Matt started work on their future retirement home at Lake Oconee. Construction moved quickly, and the pandemic did not, so they found themselves along with their three children and their families “sheltering in place” at Lake Oconee.
Karen fell in love…with Lake Oconee.
She moved to Lake Oconee two years ago and has found her place and her peace. She figured (quite correctly) that she and her husband (now empty nesters) WOULD NOT BE ALONE in their quest for lakeside living conveniently located just east and south of the hustle and bustle of Atlanta. Lake Oconee and all it had to offer was too beautiful to pass up.
In addition to the properties Karen has helped her clients buy and sell at Lake OCONEE, Karen has thoroughly enjoyed representing buyers and sellers around Lake Sinclair as well.
Lovely Lake Sinclair
Lesser known, and with typically lesser price points, Lake Sinclair encompasses 15,300 acres of winding coves, several vast stretches of open water, and 500 miles of scenic shoreline. Created by Georgia Power in 1953, Lake Sinclair is just two hours southeast of Atlanta making it easy access for fishing, tournaments, swimming, boating, camping, and LIVING!
Lake Sinclair is close to the town of Milledgeville, known for its rich history and as home for Georgia College. With its slightly more laid-back feel, Lake Sinclair attracts those looking forward to living on lake time while still enjoying the conveniences of having a larger town close-by.
