Located just north of downtown and midtown, Buckhead is one of the most affluent parts of Atlanta and is often referred to as the “jewel of the city” and the “Beverly Hills of the East”, Buckhead has over 1400 retail establishments that attract out of area shoppers and generate in excess of $1 billion in sales. Cherokee County has the Tag Line, “Where Metro Meets the Mountains”, and it’s attracting lots of people. Believed to be the “fastest growing area in Atlanta”, Cherokee County has lots to offer. A scenic county with nine mountains, a lake, two large rivers, and acres of natural unspoiled beauty make Cherokee a natural jewel. DULUTH

Population: 29,463
Located in Gwinnet County and 30 miles north of Atlanta via I-85, Duluth has a unique, small town vibe while being very progressive. FORSYTH COUNTY
Fastest Growing County in Georgia
Population: 212,000
Based on annual incomes of residents and high rates of home ownership, Forsyth has also been called the “richest” county in Georgia. It also has developed one of the best school systems in the state.
Located in the north central area of Georgia, Forsyth County has undergone significant development over the last 10 years.
Cumming: Forsyth’s city that’s currently most on the move. There’s a massive live, work, play development called Vickery Village that continues to develop. Outdoor space abounds and of course there is magnificent Lake Lanier.
Lake Lanier: Located only 45 minutes from Atlanta, Lake Lanier serves as both big lake living for its residents as well as water playground and getaway for others. There’s a resort that hosts both summer and winter activities.
JOHNS CREEK
A Thriving Community Along the Chattahoochee
Population: 82,930
John’s Creek is in Fulton County and is a northeastern suburb of Atlanta. Recently ranked third of “50 Best Cities to Live In”, Johns Creek offers lots!
Although it’s the 10th largest city in Georgia, it has the lowest crime rate. The schools are consistently among the highest ranked in all of Georgia.

LAKE OCONEE
o-ko-no is the Indian Word for “Great Waters”
Population: 37,356
Lake Oconee is located between Atlanta and Augusta and is surrounded by three counties – Putnam, Greene and Morgan. It also serves as a backdrop to some of the most magnificent neighborhoods.
Lake Oconee is a massive 19,000 acre lake with a staggering 374 miles of shoreline making it a fishing, boating and water sports enthusiast’s dream. Georgia Power Company created the lake in 1979 to produce hydro-electric energy which creates very little fluctuating lake levels.
Surrounded with beautiful green trees, the communities have hiking and biking trails, sidewalks and streetlights, and shopping and restaurants.
A $17.5 million charter school is under construction on a site between Lake Oconee and Greensboro, and there is a $2.5 million renovation project to create a new performing arts center.
